Understated and interesting are supposed to be opposites, which is why most closets end up dull!

Just imagine a soft grey sweater with an ornate cream and blue scrollwork yoke — quiet in colour, beautiful in detail. Now stop imagining, because this knit proves the two can live in the same piece.

P|H - Scroll Pattern Yoke Knit Sweater Janet

Ornate Scrollwork
The yoke is worked in a flowing scroll pattern rather than the usual geometric rows, which gives it a softer, more decorative look at the shoulder.
A Restrained Palette
Cream and dusty blue on grey keeps the whole thing calm, so the detail reads as elegant rather than festive. It works long past the holidays.
Matching Cuff Detail
The pattern continues at the wrists, so the sweater still looks finished with the sleeves pushed up.
Soft, Lofty Knit
The yarn has air in it and a gentle brushed surface, so it is warm for its weight and comfortable straight against the skin.
Relaxed Everyday Fit
Cut easy through the body with ribbed hem and cuffs, so it sits neatly over jeans or trousers without tracing anything.

If you have been searching for a patterned sweater that does not look like December, this is it — the detail is ornamental rather than seasonal. It will become the knit you wear from the first cold week right through to spring, and you will be glad it never looked like a holiday sweater.

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF KEEPING WOMEN WARM ✨

15 years ago, two sisters from Stowe, Vermont had a simple idea — a little shop where women like us could find something warm enough to get through the winter.

You made it real. Every single one of you. 🤍

This month, Thalvore turns 15 years old. Same street, same two sisters, same table in the back. Before the cold sets in, we want to say thank you the only way we know how.

As our thank you to every woman who has walked through our door — and to every one of you who found us from far away — we're taking up to 60% off the whole shop. And the more you treat yourself, the more you save.
